How to cancel a booking

Follow these steps to cancel a booking:

  1. Navigate to your bookings list within the system.
  2. Hover over the booking you wish to cancel. Click the “Edit” option that appears.

  3. On the right side of the screen, locate the booking status dropdown menu. Change the status of the booking to “Cancelled”.

  4. Click the “Update” button to save your changes.

    When a booking is cancelled, the guest will receive an email notifying them that their booking has been cancelled.

  5. (Optional) Provide a Refund.

    If you wish to issue a refund after canceling a booking, this must be done manually through the external payment system used by the customer during the reservation process (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, etc.).

    As an administrator, you can issue either a full or partial refund based on your cancellation policy or specific situation. Please ensure the refund amount and details align with your terms and communicate the resolution clearly to the customer.
