  • Ground Floor: Elegant living and dining rooms with original Venetian floors, historical fireplaces, a piano, and a billiard room. Fully equipped kitchen with access to outdoor dining and panoramic views of Monte Baldo and Lake Garda.

  • First Floor: 4 double bedrooms, each with TV, private bathroom, and original furnishings styled by Maroni. Two bedrooms feature private terraces with lake views.

The villa accommodates up to 8 guests, offering 1 bathroom with bathtub, 3 bathrooms with shower, and 1 additional toilet.

A charming villa in an enviable position, only 10 minutes from the centre of Lucca and within 2 Km of the village of Vorno. Casale Vorno offers stunning views of the Lucchese countryside yet is only 30 minutes from Versilia’s golden beaches. This stone-built Casale has a magnificent pool and garden, with a tennis club within a 10-minute drive.

Casale Vorno has been lovingly restored and furnished in a rustic, country style. Original features such as terracotta tiled floors and wooden beamed ceilings blend beautifully with modern comforts including air-conditioning and satellite TV.

The spacious garden is filled with potted lemons, olive trees, pines, camellias, wisteria, roses, lavender, rosemary, and fruit trees, creating a splendid backdrop to the swimming pool. Guests can enjoy relaxing by the pool, conversations under the gazebo or wisteria pergola, or dining ‘al fresco’ in a choice of beautiful settings.

ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES
On the upper floor are five double bedrooms, each with private bathrooms. Three rooms face north with views of the panoramic valley and hills, while two look south over the garden and brook. One of the five bedrooms is a large master suite with its own sitting room.

The villa is filled with period furniture and country-style antiques. Bathrooms are fitted with both tubs and showers.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in beautiful surrounding countryside. My family and I have had a fantastic week exploring the area. We enjoyed visiting the Egadi Islands and taking the cable car up to Erice. The ancient site at Segesta (that was a location for the new Indiana Jones film during our stay) was really interesting as was a tour of the salt flats outside Marsala.
