Payment
Payment in full (including taxes & fees) will be charged at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. Incidentals will be collected on the day of departure.
Cancellations
Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly – therefore, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. Cancellations made at least 31 days prior to arrival will be granted a voucher for the amount of the deposit, less a $100 per person cancellation fee. The voucher will expire one year from the original arrival date.
If your reservation is canceled within 30 days of arrival, the entire deposit will be forfeited. In the case of severe weather (like an active hurricane), your reservation will be canceled and a voucher will be granted for future reservations to be utilized within one year of the original arrival date.
We strongly suggest that all guests ensure they have adequate cancellation and travel insurance prior to booking with us. While we certainly do our best to support our guests who find themselves in unforeseen circumstances, we do not offer refunds, and due to our small size, our cancellation policy is strictly enforced. This is why travel insurance is an integral part of your trip planning. Most travel policies will cover cancellation due to sudden illness, a death in the family, or flight cancellations / delays due to weather and more.
Children
It is recommended that children staying at Congaree and Penn are at least 10 years old.
While Congaree and Penn can be a unique and enjoyable experience for families with children, it is not specifically geared toward children and may not be ideal for all families. Please keep in mind that dinner at Congaree and Penn is meant for an adult atmosphere centered on a farm to table dining experience. A children’s menu is not offered.
Additional Guests
Bungalow rates are inclusive of up to two guests (all bungalows are double occupancy). Children ages two and older qualify as a guest.
Canines
Well behaved canines are welcome at Congaree and Penn. Prior notification is required in order to bring your dog. A fee of $50 (plus taxes) per canine per night will apply. Up to two dogs per bungalow are permitted. Not all bungalows are dog friendly. While on property, dogs must remain leashed at all times. Dogs must not be left unattended at any time. Canines are welcome on the restaurant patio and on the farm grounds. Please inquire about other pets for approval.
Arrival + Departure
Check in is between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm and checkout is before 12:00 pm.
Dining
Dinner is offered at Congaree and Penn’s restaurant Thursday through Sunday and available for an additional fee by reservation. Lunch is also offered for an additional fee by reservation on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast staples are stocked in each bungalow.
Dietary Restrictions
Guests must report dietary restrictions and / or food allergies upon booking to ensure that Congaree and Penn’s culinary team can provide accommodations.
Smoking + Vaping
Congaree and Penn is a smoke free farm. Smoking and vaping are prohibited both indoors and outdoors.
