Rules & Regulations

  1. A signed contract is required to hold your reservation of the Rental Unit.
  2. Payment: Rentals paying by cash or check (discount rate):
    1. A non-refundable reservation deposit is required and due within one week (or 24 hours if departure is less than 7 days) of the date the reservation is made. This deposit will be credited toward your rental.
    2. The remaining balance payment is due no later than 2 weeks prior to departure date.
    3. If payment(s) is not received it may be put on your credit card and you will lose the 10% cash/check discount rate reflected in the contract. If no credit card is on file, your reservation will be cancelled, and paid monies forfeited.
    4. All checks returned by the Bank uncollected are subject to a $20.00 service fee.
  3. Payment: Rentals paying by credit card (regular rate)
    1. A non-refundable reservation deposit is required and will be charged once the signed contract is received. This deposit will be credited toward your rental. If the contract is not received in 24 hours a reservation may be cancelled.
    2. The remaining balance payment will be charged 2 weeks prior to departure date.
  4. Cancellation: In the event of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be credited towards a future rental within one year, except:
    1. The reservation deposit will be forfeited if canceled within 30 days of scheduled departure date.
    2. Cancellation within 14 days prior to scheduled departure will result in the total rental fee (less mileage charge) being forfeited to Rental Co. regardless of Renter’s reason(s).
  5. Security Deposit: (as shown in Section III) is payable on the departure date by cash or credit card and is refunded or credited respectfully within 7 days after the return of the Rental Unit, or after all checks clear. Any damage to or loss of equipment is the responsibility of the Renter and will be deducted from the Security Deposit, with the balance refunded after the damage is fixed or loss is replaced.
  6. Liability Insurance (trailers only): No liability coverage. The Renter must carry liability on their vehicle and that liability must transfer to the Trailer while hooked to the Renters tow vehicle. Renter releases Rental Co. from all liability claims.
  7. Departure time is indicated at the top of the contract. Standard times are Monday-Friday 1pm-4pm (NO Holiday departures). Non-standard times (subject to availability) incur an extra charge in addition to rates based on standard times. Lateness will also incur an extra charge and/or forfeit the rental at the Rental Co.’s discretion. (Renters basic rental and insurance will be forfeited). A minimum of 1 hour is required after the scheduled departure time to thoroughly acquaint you with the unit to be rented.
  8. Return time is indicated at the top of the contract. Thereafter, for each day or fraction thereof, there will be charged, the extra day charge plus a $300.00 penalty fee. Returning earlier than scheduled date will not result in credit or refund. You will be charged $100.00 if the Rental Unit is dropped off, parked, or stopped on the street.
  9. The return condition of the Rental Unit must be the same condition as received, less normal wear. A minimum of $40.00 will be deducted from the Security Deposit and/or charged if the interior of the vehicle needs to be cleaned above the standard cleaning, (including refrigerator, stove, oven etc., waste tanks emptied, flushed and gauges reading empty, if so equip), and a minimum of $50.00 will be charged if the exterior of the vehicle needs to be cleaned above the standard cleaning. If excess cleaning is needed, there will be an additional charge. Items left in the Rental Unit are at the owner’s risk and after 14 days will be forfeited. Pop-up trailer rentals: If not opened and set up on return you will be charged a set-up fee of $40.00.
  10. Propane and Gasoline: You will be charged for propane usage ($10 minimum). You are expected to return the vehicle with the gasoline tank at departure level or you will be charged for the usage ($10 minimum for gasoline usage + $10 service fee to cover time to and from the gas station).
  11. Towing (motor homes only): Using the Rental Unit for towing any type of vehicle or trailer will automatically incur a $500.00 penalty fee unless the towing option is selected in Section III. Towed item may not exceed the maximum gross combined weight rating of the Rental Unit. Towing over 1,500 lbs. requires the renter to have surge brakes or electrical brakes operating on their trailer. (Additional costs associated with the addition of an electric brake control and/or wiring to the Rental Unit are the renters responsibility)
  12. Maintenance or repair expenditures: (not caused by negligence of the Renter) incurred on the trip (except tires) will be credited toward the rental upon your presentation of receipts when returning the Unit. Call Rental Co. at 610-435-6920 immediately for authorization on expenditures exceeding $50.00 or in the event of an accident. Renter is responsible for checking engine fluids and maintaining safe levels. Renter is responsible for all tire related costs if a flat occurs.
  13. Smoking: There is absolutely no smoking allowed inside the Rental Unit. If evidence is found that a unit has been smoked in (smoke odor, ash, etc…) renter will be charged a $500 cleaning and sanitizing fee.
  14. Pets: Only select units are pet friendly and require an additional pet fee. If evidence is found that a pet has been in a non-pet unit (pet odor, hair, etc…), the renter will be charged a $500 penalty in addition to pet fee.
  15. Damages: The Renter is responsible for damages, whether or not due to the fault of Renter; including Loss of Use (the number of days from the date the vehicle is damaged until it is repaired multiplied by the daily rental rate). Collision and comprehension limited to insurance deductible per occurrence, except no limit on interior damage, damage caused by freezing vehicle systems, and damage caused as a result of use without Rental Co. permission or consent. All other insurance or self-insurance, whether primary, excess, or contingent, shall be primary, and any insurance provided by this policy shall be excess over all other such insurance. Motor Home driver minimum age is 25 years old.
  16. Acknowledgments: Renter acknowledges their responsibility, as an insurer as well as Bailee, and will hold Rental Co. harmless from any and all fines, forfeitures, and penalties arising out of any violation of law. The Renter is responsible for all tolls and toll violations. The Rental Co. shall not be held liable for damages, inconvenience or time lost caused by accident, breakdown, or malfunction of the Rental Unit, including appliances or generator. Renter further agrees to hold the Rental Co. harmless should damages occur to any of renter’s personal property while carried in, or on, such Rental Unit including loss or damage caused by fire, water, or theft. Renter further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Rental Co. from, and against any and all claims for loss of or damages to property or injury to persons (including death) resulting through the use, operation or possession of the Rental Unit. The Rental Co. will not be held liable if it is unable to provide Rental Unit to Renter, except all money paid to Rental Co. will be returned to Renter.
  17. Late fee: A late fee of 1.5% per month (18% APR) is charged for an unpaid outstanding balance, plus court and attorney fees. Your canceled check is your receipt.
