Sauna Safety Guidelines


🔹 BEFORE YOU ENTER

  • Hydrate: Drink water before and after using the sauna.
  • Shower First: Enter clean and dry for best results and hygiene.
  • Dress Code: Towel or swimsuit only. No shoes.
  • Not Feeling Well? Do not use the sauna if you are:
    • Pregnant (unless cleared by your doctor)
    • Under the influence of drugs or alcohol
    • Feeling dizzy, ill, or overheated
    • Managing heart, lung, or circulatory issues without medical clearance

🔹 DURING YOUR SESSION

  • Time Limit: 10–15 minutes per session. First-time users may start with 5–10 minutes.
  • Stay Alert: If you feel lightheaded or unwell, exit immediately.
  • Water Only: No food, alcohol, or glass items allowed.
  • No Oils or Lotions: Fire risk and surface damage.
  • Remove Metal Jewelry: It gets hot and can burn skin.

🔹 AFTER YOUR SESSION

  • Cool Down Slowly: Step outside and rest before rinsing off or re-entering.
  • Hydrate Again: Replenish fluids with water or electrolytes.
  • Limit Use: Maximum 3 sessions per day with at least 10-minute breaks in between.

⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES

  • Do Not Touch the Heater – It’s extremely hot and can cause serious burns.
  • No Items on the Heater – Towels and personal belongings are a fire hazard.
  • Children Under 16 – Must be closely supervised.
  • No Sleeping in the Sauna – This is dangerous and strictly prohibited.
